My First Foreign Interface

January 7, 2012 was really amazing because we met korean students who were studying ESL in our school. I felt so excited and a little bit nervous for I don't know what am I going to do or to say during the interface. I just can't believe that we were given a chance to meet and communicate with them. So Sir Jayson paired us. My partner was Honeylyn and we were ready to meet them.
We were assigned to this man, Jeon Boo Ho whose English name is Cid, 21 yrs. old and lives in Gong Ju. He is an engineering student, and the youngest among his four siblings. His favorite is Kimchi and here in Cebu, he preferred something fried and in color, he likes black and red. Black for it symbolized night and red for fire. He defined Filipino as kind and funny. During the interface, he asked us first. He asked our name, course, where we live, our parents name and why we choose this course. We answered everything.
When I questioned how does he define English, he simply said, "English is very hard". We also asked him some Korean word and example of it is Bam gab sum nida which means nice  to meet you. At first I really thought that they are all good in speaking English. I was shocked and surprised when I noticed how they talked and communicate with us. It is an advantage to our side because we know how to speak English unlike them. But I really appreciate their efforts and willingness to study English Language.
That was not my first time to see a Korean but it was my first time to talk with them personally. That day was really fantastic. It was a memorable experienced to meet them especially Cid who was very friendly and I'm hoping to meet him again. It was such an honor to know him.
